Before and After

This is the little black swan on Granger who stunned everyone. It was purchased as a "fix and flip" from the Court House Steps. As you can see from the outside, how much work has been lovingly applied, you can imagine how it looked on the inside, bug infested mattress etc. The contractors had to use muliple dumpsters to make this into a desirable little home.

Middleburry

A house isn't a home until you have your own bostful Theater Room!! Middleburry is being sold as a "Lease to Own". What we enjoyed staging the most in this house was the "Theater Room". This room has it all!! If you or you know of someone who'd like to buy a house, but you don't have good credit, this may be an oportunity for you. With a little down, this could be your paradise.

Here is a cute litte Condo that we staged out in Davis near the campus. Here is a little glimps of what we do outside of our Sacramento Region.

Penwith

The Penwith House was purchased as an investment property to be used as a rental from the Court House Steps. We touched up the paint and added more contrast, such as the white trim that you see. Whom ever had purchased this house before, never thought to add a contrasting color to enhance the body's color.

712 Lopes Ct

We learned a lot from staging this house on Lopes Ct. We were asked to come and check out this house to see "why it wasn't selling"??? As you can see from the picture, the fence falling apart was my first item on the list. Second, the cool grey color, along with the lack of character. Once I struggled past the cobbwebs, I found a dust crested house. Once, it was cleaned and staged from top to bottom, it sold in a matter of days!!

Danvers

This cute Ranchette was purchased at the auction Court House Steps here in Sacramento. It's located in South Sacramento near Starbucks and Home Depot. I love the grapevine covered patio in the backyard.

Stone Canyon

Here is a house that I staged in Citrus Heights, Stone Canyon. This is a quite little neighborhood with friendly neighbors. I enjoyed enhancing the vaulted cielings with large scaled art work.

Family Photo Time!!

Family Photos are just around the corner!! I don't know about you, but every year I set out to be on time with my family photos, but it creeps up on me and by passes me. I found someone close to Sacramento, accomodating, fun and easy going. Her name is Melissa Cooke.

Around Town

I belong to an ALL GIRLS cooking CLUB. No boys allowed. It was created by my good friends Maria Siegal and Lacy Berry who are my inspiration. I have learned countless tips on how to cook, bake and prepare ravishing meals. I was doing some research on ideas for our cooking club and ran accross these couple of inserts. I love eating, but cooking really takes a back seat in my life right now. 1) "Gourmet Dinner Club" tries different restaurants in nearby cities. Each month they have a theme, from Mediterranean to a "White Trash Slip and Slide" party, they have had the "Polish Wedding". Everyone is invited to bring a dish that goes with the theme, drinks are usally also coordinated and we usually come in costume. One family hosts as they have a large home and yard to accomodate everyone! Our guests are married couples who are welcome to bring their children, young 20/30 something's and we have a few "mom's and dad's" too. All are welcome and a good time is had by all!" Sounds good to me!! I think we should try it!!

2) Dinner is usually followed by a game or activity but not always. Sometimes we dress up to go along with the theme. Our past themes have been: Breakfast for Dinner (everyone came in Pajamas), Luau (we were Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio, others dressed as the Clintons, Mr. and Mrs. Claus, Spam and Eggs, WiiOlympics and next month they are have Prom themed dinner. the dinner theme is "Souptacular". They made four different soups with assorted breads and salad. December didn't really have a theme. It was a great meal and we made gingerbread houses after. It really depends on your group and what you are feeling like cooking.

These articles have helped me look at dinner parties in a different light and they have inspired me to Play with My Food!!!

Does anyone have gps caching stories?

Were the blinking lights all in my head??? I find it facinating when emergency lights go off and NOBODY responds like last night. A building accross the street from the State Capital had blinking strob lights on 3-4 floors. NO response....

Loreto was our first staging job with Eli and Oscar. What a fun team to work with!! These two investors from the Bay Area are true gentlemen. Eli likes modern colors, he's a LIMN kind of guy. If you know what that means....it's a modern, VERY modern furniture store here in Sacramento. (There's one in SF as well.) Oscar claims he's color blind. I have my doubts Oscar :)..

Here is a cute little Ranch Style house in Roseville off of Loreto. It shows really well. I enjoyed working with Eli and Oscar on this house. I love how easy going and open minded they are to my suggestions.

Delta Point

Here is a nice little remodel. This investor purchased this property with the intent to Flip. He purchased Delta Point for $75,000 and it went pending for $130,000. Here is what the property looked like "before" we staged it.

4310 28th Ave Staged Home

Here is the front of the house. This house was already painted and ready to go when Emilie and Abbie was invited to Stage. After Staging this house, our client received an offer with in 5 days AFTER being Staged. This house is a 3 bedroom and 2 bath with extra parking.

Living Room: This was the first and lasting impression of the potential home owner. This room has a very impressive "Picture" window. Notice the detailing below the window. This is pretty rare, and I love the old world look. Modern houses just aren't built like this.

We love little details that set houses apart, such as this little arch. It was amazing to Stage this house and to highlight it's features for a potential buyer to see and appreciate.
